Dr. Erica Balcombe is a dedicated Naturopathic Doctor (ND) focusing in women’s health, with a passion for empowering women through holistic and integrative care. With an undergraduate degree from Brock University and a doctorate from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, Dr. Balcombe combines evidence-based practices with traditional healing methods to address a wide range of women’s health concerns, including menstrual irregularities, infertility, prenatal and postpartum care, and menopause.
With a compassionate and educational approach, Dr. Balcombe believes in identifying and treating the root cause of dysfunction, not just the symptoms. She emphasizes the importance of lifestyle, nutrition, and mental well-being in achieving optimal health. Dr. Balcombe is committed to providing personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s unique needs and goals, fostering a supportive environment for healing and growth.
Outside of the office, you can find her playing with her son, cooking or baking healthy meals and treats, or going for walks.
Naturopathic Doctor Afsoun Khalili is a graduate of the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) and holds a bachelor of science in biochemistry. While Dr. Khalili utilizes all naturopathic modalities for treatment, patients can also benefit from her advanced training and experience in cosmetic/facial rejuvenation acupuncture and anti-aging treatments.
In addition to being owner of Khalili Second Nature, Dr. Khalili is currently an associate professor and clinic faculty member at The Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM), lecturing and teaching advanced clinical nutrition and supervising 4th-year clinical residents.
Dr. Khalili is the creator and facilitator of Be Your Best Self, a healthy lifestyle and weight management program. The program has enjoyed success for more than twelve years and updated regularly The most recent update focuses on healthy eating for kids and teens.
Dr. Khalili has been involved with CCNM’s corporate wellness program. Additional topics which she has lectured on include obesity, stress and stress management/meditation, eating whole and healthfully, HIV, detoxification and food sensitivities, gastrointestinal disorders, sleep disorders, mood disorders, eczema, body image issues, diabetes, and menopause among many others.
